<strong>2014<\/strong> with the idea of offering a professional evaluation of the emotional variables and psychopathological alterations that accompany, facilitate or complexify the different somatic problems seen at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ruberinternacional.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ruber Internacional Hospital.<\/a> <\/p><p>It was born integrated in the Neurology Service with the spirit of offering <strong>optimal care in specialized programs that require multi-professional and coordinated care.<\/strong> Since then, it has worked in liaison psychiatry with several specialties: Internal Medicine, Gynecology, Neurosurgery and Oncology.<\/p><p>The Psychiatry Unit has actively participated in the evaluation, treatment plans and coordinated work with patients treated in other programs:<\/p><ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/neurologiaclinica.es\/unidades-neurologia\/trastornos-movimiento-funcionales\/\">Functional Movement Disorders Unit<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/neurologiaclinica.es\/unidades-neurologia\/unidad-de-epilepsia\/\">Epilepsy Unit<\/a><\/li><li>Diagnosis and Treatment of Cognitive Impairment<\/li><li>Evaluation of the clinical indication for radiosurgery in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.<\/li><\/ul><div> <\/div><p>Throughout my professional life, and especially in the work of these years, close contact and coordinated work with other professionals has enriched my knowledge and sharpened my clinical intuition to<strong> identify and alleviate the causes of psychic suffering<\/strong>.<\/p><p>At all times, care has been taken to ensure good coordination with the different professionals attending the patient, as well as to advise on the <strong>best management of the care resources<\/strong> required for clinical improvement.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/neurologiaclinica.es\/unidades-neurologia\/unidad-psiquiatria\/alta-sensibilidad-alta-capacidad\/\">We have a Program for PAS (High Sensitivity) and\/or PAC (High Ability) Patients.<\/a>  This program is a pioneer in Spain, uniting the multidisciplinary work of several members of our team, being able to offer individualized treatments and diagnoses.  <\/p><p>We also provide general psychiatric consultations and support for pharmacological prescriptions for patients who are involved in a psychotherapeutic process both with our team and other professionals.  <\/p><p>The evaluation of the evolution of the psychotherapeutic work allows <strong>adjusting the pharmacological treatment, minimizing side effects and increasing the efficacy of the intervention<\/strong>.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50
