Some of the most frequent <strong>causes<\/strong> of this type of dysphagia are stroke, traumatic brain injury, dementia, Parkinson&#8217;s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, multiple sclerosis and myasthenia gravis.  <\/p><p>&#8211; <strong>Esophageal dysphagia<\/strong> initially affects <strong>solid foods<\/strong> and is usually <strong>secondary to structural alterations of the esophagus<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Early detection of the existence of a swallowing problem and diagnosis of the cause is important.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/main><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
