The most common are headaches, nausea, vomiting and neurological deficits, such as loss of strength or sensation in half of the body, or slurred speech. <\/p><p>The <strong>diagnosis<\/strong> of this pathology is based on the symptoms reported by the patient, the findings in the neurological examination performed by the neurologist and the imaging tests<a href=\"http:\/\/184.168.150.112\/servicios\/diagnostico_por_imagen\/q_tecnica.php#08\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">(CT<\/a> and\/or <a href=\"http:\/\/184.168.150.112\/especialidades\/neurologia\/i_gral_imagen.php#04\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">MRI<\/a>). Sometimes it will be necessary to perform a <strong>brain biopsy<\/strong> to take a sample of tumor tissue and analyze it under the microscope. This test will provide greater certainty as to the nature of the tumor.  <\/p><p>The recommended <strong>treatment<\/strong> depends on the size and type of tumor, the speed of growth, and the patient&#8217;s general health.<\/p><p>The main <strong>treatment options<\/strong> are surgery,<strong> radiotherapy and chemotherapy, or a combination of these<\/strong>. The aim of <strong>surgery<\/strong> is to remove most of the tumor with the least possible damage to viable tissue. There are less aggressive techniques such as <strong>radiosurgery<\/strong>, which in some cases make it possible to act on the tumor with great precision without affecting the surrounding tissues.  <\/p><p>The <strong>diagnosis and treatment<\/strong> of this pathology is carried out by a multidisciplinary team made up of neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, medical oncologists and radiotherapists.<\/p><\/main><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-46a541b elementor-align-center
