{"id":16788,"date":"2024-01-25T14:21:07","date_gmt":"2024-01-25T13:21:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/neurologiaclinica.es\/abroad-research-paper\/"},"modified":"2025-04-16T18:11:10","modified_gmt":"2025-04-16T16:11:10","slug":"abroad-research-paper","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/neurologiaclinica.es\/en\/abroad-research-paper\/","title":{"rendered":"ABROAD research paper"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-post\" data-elementor-id=\"16788\" class=\"elementor elementor-16788\" data-elementor-post-type=\"post\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-7add798c elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"7add798c\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-29d02bf\" data-id=\"29d02bf\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-20ff3233 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"20ff3233\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3>All information about the ABROAD research trial<\/h3><h5>Signs and symptoms of Alzheimer&#8217;s disease<\/h5><p><strong>Signs and symptoms of mild Alzheimer&#8217;s disease<\/strong> can be varied but noticeable and affect memory, behavior and thinking ability:<\/p><ul><li>Difficulty in storing <strong>new information<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Forgetfulness<\/strong> such as &#8220;paying bills&#8221;.<\/li><li>Frequent <strong>misplacement of objects<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Forgetting appointments<\/strong> or important dates<\/li><li><strong>Difficulty<\/strong> in <strong>paying attention<\/strong> to something or someone<\/li><\/ul><p> <\/p><p>All these symptoms can, over time, increase and multiply, becoming a problem in your daily activity.<\/p><h6>In the Neurology Service we currently have a research trial, for patients who already have a diagnosis of mild Alzheimer&#8217;s disease or who are experiencing signs and symptoms compatible with the disease.<\/h6><h5>Requirements for participation in the research trial<\/h5><ul><li>You must be<strong> between 50 and 90 years old<\/strong><\/li><li>Be<strong>diagnosed with or have compatible signs and symptoms.<\/strong><\/li><li>Being able to count on a &#8220;rehearsal partner&#8221;
