{"id":17091,"date":"2020-03-20T15:37:15","date_gmt":"2020-03-20T14:37:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/neurologiaclinica.es\/neurology-service-communication-covid-19\/"},"modified":"2025-04-21T13:27:03","modified_gmt":"2025-04-21T11:27:03","slug":"neurology-service-communication-covid-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/neurologiaclinica.es\/en\/neurology-service-communication-covid-19\/","title":{"rendered":"Neurology Service: Communication COVID-19."},"content":{"rendered":"&#13;\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2531\" src=\"https:\/\/neurologiaclinica.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/encabezado.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Madrid March 20, 2020<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dear patients, family and friends,<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In connection with the situation created by the coronavirus infection, we have adopted a series of <strong>special measures<\/strong> aimed at <strong>protecting<\/strong> our patients and families, as well as our staff.<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The actions taken are as follows before Covid-19:<\/h3>&#13;\n&#13;\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">&#13;\n<li>The Neurology Department <strong>(<\/strong> First Floor, Hospital Ruber Internacional) <strong>will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday<\/strong>.<\/li>&#13;\n<li>In order to reduce the risk of contagion for patients and their families, and for our staff, we are trying to defer face-to-face consultations.<\/li>&#13;\n<li><strong>Urgent care<\/strong> will be provided immediately in our offices or in the emergency area of the Ruber Internacional Hospital.<\/li>&#13;\n<li>Patients who have been previously studied in our Service can contact the responsible physician by <strong>telephone<\/strong> (+34 913875250) or <strong>e-mail<\/strong><a href=\"mailto:info@neurologiaclinica.es\">(info@neurologiaclinica.es).<\/a><\/li>&#13;\n<li>If the patient and family want an appointment in the next days or weeks, the possibility of <strong>telephone or telematic consultation<\/strong> (Skype) is offered.  <\/li>&#13;\n<li>If the patient and family require a <strong>face-to-face consultation<\/strong>, the reason for the consultation will be considered and an attempt will be made as soon as possible.<\/li>&#13;\n<li>Persons presenting <strong>symptoms<\/strong> compatible with COVID-19 infection should <strong>refrain from<\/strong> consulting us. In this case we offer care through the emergency access enabled for this purpose at the Ruber Internacional Hospital. <\/li>&#13;\n<li>Our personnel are protected with <strong>masks and gloves<\/strong>.<\/li>&#13;\n<li><strong>Cleaning and disinfection<\/strong> of the reception and medical offices have been reinforced.<\/li>&#13;\n<\/ul>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the appropriate time, attendance will be normalized.<\/p>&#13;\n&#13;\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you very much for trusting us.
