You have just been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, and we know it is a difficult diagnosis to take on board, but progress in research offers a hopeful future.

New Parkinson’s disease trials

The aim of this new treatment is to modify the natural history of Parkinson’s disease by attempting to slow or halt the progression of neuronal death and at the same time improve the person’s symptomatology and quality of life.

If you are between 40 and 70 years old and have recently been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, you may be interested in participating in this clinical trial.

Requirements to participate in the study:

• Not having started any treatment for Parkinson’s disease or not having been taking it for more than a few weeks.
• Do not be pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Not having other significant neurological, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, renal diseases or allergies.

The study is carried out in the Movement Disorders Program of the Neurology Service of the Ruber Internacional Hospital.
