The Clinical Neurology Unit of the Ruber Internacional Hospital has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with neurological diseases and disorders.

We see patients with neurological diseases and disorders of different types including headaches, back, neck and limb pain, movement disorders, dizziness, balance disorders, loss of consciousness, sleep disorders, peripheral neuropathies, tumors, head trauma and spinal trauma, speech and language disorders, cognitive disorders and behavioral disorders.

We have special experience in the study of cases of difficult diagnosis(Second Opinions), being a national and international reference.

The study of each patient in the consultation consists of a clinical assessment including a detailed clinical history and a complete neurological examination. The information obtained in this first contact may allow us to make a precise diagnosis and, if necessary, to decide on the appropriate treatment. At other times, diagnostic tests are necessary. These tests are usually performed on an outpatient basis.

In cases where admission of the patient is necessary, medical care and testing is readily available to get a diagnosis and initiate appropriate treatment as soon as possible.
