“Vulnerability and Strength. Highly Sensitive People.”

Dr. Marta Sanz, Director of the Psychiatry Unit of the Neurology Service of the Ruber Internacional Hospital, has written a book that will be presented next week at the Hospital.
Between 20 and 30 percent of the population has a profile of functioning that is called High Emotional Sensitivity, it is a quality, not a pathology, which has to do with living emotionality in a deeper and more intense way than the rest of the population, says Dr. Sanz.

On June 21, a publication will be presented that reflects the team’s experience over the years in working with people with high emotional sensitivity.
It is a book: “Vulnerability and strength. Highly Sensitive People” and a story in the form of an educational fable aimed at children, in which specialists, patients and family members have collaborated, sharing their experiences. This project was born during the pandemic and the experiences during these years have been captured in this illustrated book and the children’s fable that accompanies it.
The presentation will take place in the Conference Room of the Ruber Internacional Hospital, 38 La Masó St., Madrid. At 7:00 p.m.
