Last Friday June 6th took place the III Course of Neuro-Ophthalmological Exploration.

As in past editions, we are delighted to say that the course was a success, both in terms of attendance and the content of the lectures and workshops. All attendees received on arrival a complete folder with neuro-ophthalmological examination material, which together with the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired provided them with the tools to be able to perform a neuro-ophthalmological examination.

During the morning the seven speakers, neurologists, ophthalmologists and neuro-ophthalmologists developed the topics to be discussed: eyelids, visual acuity, color vision and visual fields, fundus, pupils, range of eye movements, assessment of ocular misalignment, rapid eye movements, slow eye movements, nystagmus and other abnormal eye movements.

At the end of the morning session of conferences, all attendees and speakers were able to share experiences during a lunch break prior to the intense afternoon that awaited them with rotating workshops to put into practice all the information received during the morning lectures. At this time some of the attendees took the opportunity to share and comment on cases and to receive the opinion of experts in the field.

The workshops, as well as the conferences, were very successful and well received by all. Each lecturer explained the practice of the consultation to a small group of attendees. The groups went through each workshop on a rotating basis to complete all the information received.
