Blepharospasm
Blepharospasm is an involuntary, bilateral, sustained contraction of the orbicularis oculi muscles of the eyelids.
It is often associated with spasms of the muscles of the face, known as Meige syndrome.
Blepharospasm may appear isolated or associated with other movement disorders(dystonia), and may cause reading and walking difficulties, as well as transient deformities of the face and eyelids.
An accurate diagnosis should rule out other corneal pathology diseases , glaucoma or dry eye.
