Cerebral lymphoma
Lymphoma of the brain is a tumor made up of abnormal lymphocytes.
Most cases correspond to metastases from a lymphoma located elsewhere in the body (secondary lymphomas).
Occasionally, especially in elderly or immunocompromised patients (e.g. HIV infection), they may originate in the brain tissue itself (primary lymphomas).
