Continuous hemicrania

Hemicrania continua is a strictly unilateral persistent headache that responds to indomethacin.

At least one of the following autonomic features occurs during exacerbations and ipsilateral to the side of the pain:

  • Conjunctival redness and/or lacrimation
  • Nasal congestion and/or rhinorrhea
  • Ptosis and/or miosis.
