Korea
Korea means dance in Greek.
People with chorea have irregular , involuntary movements that can be fast or slow and seem to flow from one part of the body to another, resembling a dance.
The movements are unpredictable but people can often disguise them and incorporate them into their voluntary movements.
After an infection, what is popularly known as “St. Vitus’ ball” may develop, the technical name of which is Sydenham’s chorea.
Chorea is also the most frequent motor sign of an inherited disease known as Huntigton’s chorea.
