Meningioma
A meningioma is a tumor derived from the cells that line the brain and spinal cord.
In most cases, these are benign lesions, but they can be difficult to treat depending on their location.
Symptoms derive from its ability to compress underlying tissues, and include seizures, loss of strength or sensation in the face or extremities, cognitive disturbances and visual disturbances.
