Preferential dedication to epilepsy.
Dr. Álvaro Beltrán Corbellini is anAssociate Neurologistin the Epilepsy Unit currently working in the Neurology Department of the Ruber International Hospital. He is involved in the care of epileptic patients, both adult and pediatric, in consultation and hospitalization, as well as in video-EEG monitoring, epilepsy surgery, interpretation of genetic studies in epilepsy and clinical trials with precision therapies, among other activities.
He graduated in Medicine at the University of Malaga and completed his training in Neurology at the Ramón y Cajal University Hospital in Madrid, a national reference center. After that, he began his training in Epilepsy with an observership in the Epilepsy Program at the Ruber International Hospital, under the direction of Dr. Antonio Gil-Nagel, where he currently continues as a fellow neurologist.
In addition, he teaches at various levels and is a researcher, author of communications to conferences and several scientific articles and book chapters for national and international publications, having participated as a scientific reviewer for several of them.
