The Dr. Irene García Morales has extensive clinical experience in the management of patients with epilepsy, including cases of special complexity.
He also has a strong background in EEG and video EEG analysis of patients with epilepsy.
She is linked to the Centro de Tecnología Biomédica of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where she is Principal Investigator of a project. She is part of the Epilepsy Program directed by Dr. Gil-Nagel in which pioneering techniques in the treatment of epilepsy are developed, such as deep electrodes and radiosurgery, which have been applied to adults and children with refractory epilepsy.
He participates in the training of epilepsy specialists who have gone on to work in public and private hospitals in Spain and Latin America.
He has several publications in national and international journals and books.
