Preferential dedication to intraoperative monitoring.
Dr. María del Mar Santiago is a specialist in intraoperative monitoring, with extensive experience in monitoring nerve function by applying different neurophysiological techniques during spine, brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerve and vascular surgery, among others. He performs monitoring of complex pathology in pediatric and adult age.
She has tutored resident physicians in the area of intraoperative monitoring and has been a speaker at inter- and intra-hospital clinical sessions with content in the area of intraoperative monitoring and neurophysiology.
He has several publications in specialized magazines and books.
